3 kinds of crisis

That test you, deconstruct you, mould you

Crisis: a discontinuity

3 kinds:

  1. Unavoidable: acts of nature

  2. Self Inflicted: accident due to fast driving

  3. Chosen: transformation, metamorphosis, alchemy

The Chosen crisis is not a crisis even though discontinuous. Its inside out. Emerges over period of time – like the winter sun. It’s chosen by you because of what you know. And how do you know what you know?  Because you chose to know more about it.

Late Andy Grove, ex CEO Intel said, ‘Bad companies are destroyed by crisis. Good companies survive them. Great companies are improved by them.’ How about bad companies are destroyed by self-inflicted crisis. Good companies overcome unavoidable crisis. Great companies choose their crisis and transform themselves.

Choose your crisis. Transform yourself on your terms.
