Everyone wants Freedom

Minus the price.

We live in the best of times, that the past generations never saw. There is freedom from disease, hunger and violence. And access to technology and resources, unimaginable just a few decades ago.

Yet we seek freedom, meaning and fulfilment. Freedom over one’s own destiny and time. Without letting go of the safety and comforts – a sign of good times, that we have gotten used to.

Now that sounds like a contradiction. Which is why, we are, where we are – comforted, routined and cocooned. Like in a gilded cage.

Don’t get me wrong. There is no moralizing. Just questions. With all the resources at our disposal, are we moving closer to becoming the best version of ourselves. What stops us from feeling okay.

Freedom is a play of external and internal human condition. While our external conditions have improved, the same cannot be said about internal condition. It is easier to buy the car that gives us the rush, versus make that move, which makes us vulnerable and free.

Freedom is precious and everyone’s to have. It has a price.

Which is rebooting our internal conditioning that no longer serves us.

Is it really a price.
