Communication that explodes imagination

People who are influential have the ability to communicate in a powerful way.

They transform the listeners’ reality by expanding their understanding and empowering them.

One way to communicate powerfully is through Principles and Metaphors.

We understand Principles intellectually and Metaphors instinctively.

Here are some thoughts on how the Universe operates – explained using principles and metaphors.

Everything emerges from One: Like a full tree emerges from a seed
The underlying reality is one: Like a field of energy
Everything is connected: As is in a Spider’s web
From stillness emerges movement: From depths of Ocean waves emerge
We are a means and not an end: Current flows in continuous circuit
The whole is more than sum of parts: Pieces of jigsaw puzzle create a larger picture

This reality we perceive is subjective.
Like the blind men and the elephant.
Like the camera lens, with varied depths of focus.
Like the musical instruments, tuned individually.
Like an observer in the centre of a lattice network. The points one connects inside, are the points that connect outside.

When we choose to ask “what is this all about” and “what matters and does not matter”, we move from a state of disequilibrium to completeness and discernment. That is true wealth – when there is nothing to add, ...
