Diamonds are forever. What about questions.

Do you see answers as frozen pictures in time and questions as dynamic compass.

Answers reflect our understanding at a point of time. Questions reflect what matters most to us. Great questions, like the compass, show the right direction.

Organizations that are century old still grapple with the same questions. Who are we, what problem are we solving, who are our customers, how do we stay relevant. The answers keep changing.

These questions are not very different from what even religion asks.

In science fundamental questions are still unanswered. The answers change. The Earth and Sun were considered as the centre of Universe at different points of time. And now we knowing everything is accelerating and expanding outwards. Some even believe we all exist inside a black hole and others feel we are actually a hologram.

One day in distant future, some great civilization will assess the advancement of previous civilizations, not only basis the answers they discovered, but also basis the questions they asked.

Hopefully by then some of my questions may finally get their answers.
