Some were born porcelain and some plain clay

To protect ourselves from breaking, stainless steel became the preferred way

 

Like the lines under your eyes

The cracks tell a tale of a full life

 

To avoid them is to not live

Be the clay you are meant to be

 

Be it clay or steel both go through the furnace

Some are meant to simply be

Some are meant to never break

 

Choice is yours

Be the clay you are, not afraid of breaking, fully alive

Or be the stainless steel, unbroken, that never really lived.
