The butterfly mind

The idea, that the flapping of a butterfly’s wings triggers a tornado, sounds possible

When you consider the workings of the mind

A small tremor in the mind

Launches a tsunami of another kind

Powerful and fragile

Swinging to the beat both ways

It brings good times and bad times

Make it your friend

Know it’s a shadow that won’t leave you but ain’t you

Shine a light to it and it grows small, move it to dullness and it grows tall

Swing with it, hold it light

Agree to disagree with it at times

In good times and bad times

My butterfly mind
