What it takes it gives

On one side are infinite forces at play devoid of feelings

Be it chronological, astronomical, geological, biological, or even political

Gears within gears – from subtle to gross, minutiae to cosmic

On other side is the conscious you

The pivot

Every choice sends out a signal

Only to return as a message to those listening

The gears hear you, honour you, they rebalance

The Universe may or may not have a heart but it definitely has a sense of humour

What it takes it gives

Everything exists for you to act.
