Something is missing

Do we respect people more who generate more work.

Board wants you to double sales and halve costs.

Executive coach wants you to commit to a plan.

Personal belief pushes you to give more.

Its not enough to be solid, it must feel solid.

And quantum of work generated is a good way to measure it – like visible piles of laundry.

In Physics work is defined as application of force. It does not create energy, only transfers it.

Can we defy the norms. Can work reduce need for force and replenish energy.

When work feels like work it saps body, mind, and soul. What is possible from a depleted person.

When work is life-force it becomes food for the very soul. What is not possible from such a rejuvenated person.

Ever promoted someone who reduced everyone’s work.

Ever felt we need less work not more outings.
